This is an acrylic painting I made during my second to last semester, one of the last pieces I painted. I don't have any drawings to post YET but I'm really eager to get more involved in this forum AND I'd also like to work more on painting in ANY kind of painting medium. (Acrylic, gouache, oil, water colors etc...)

Whoo! Welcome. It's looking like your technique with your medium is outpacing your anatomical knowledge. There doesn't seem to be much defenite form, the arm looks kind of 'blobby' and the hand is suffering from a bit too much pointyness.
I'd say work with both acrylic and pencil but do some really thorough observing. get a lot of practice in with some quicker anatomical sketches to help you along.

I have some great books now that I can look at for anatomy (Especially everyones favorites... hands.) but I'm also trying to get into a morgue. I haven't bugged the USF people in awhile so I may try again.
Thanks for the suggestions! I look foward to any feedback.
