I've been pushing myself lately to do some more finished illustrations. Here's something I'm felling done with now. Done mostly in painter with a bit of color correcting in photoshop. Please crit away.

Well I didn't change the head position and I agree it could go down a bit. I posted this over at cg society and got some feedback, though nobody pointed out the head which made me more willing to be lazy and not change the head. Anyway, I'm definitely done with this now. Maybe if I get enough crits of things to change and improve I'll come back to this some day. Thanks for the comments.

I like the upward angle that the work is done from, but the character's head is far too high off of his shoulders. The head size and proportion looks correct to me, just that his neck would be very long if this were from a direct angle. Great expression and detail on his face.
