Hi Di Ho!

To end my postless "just being here"ness (...) I want to share some of my drawings and scetches on order to, well, share and improve...:)...

I am studying Architecture and from time to time I get to paint something nice... I would love to be able to paint very well some day in order to become an Concept Artist for Scenery in Movies (or whatever the exact definition of that geezers job is that created Harry Potters Castle, did the Lord Of The Rings Stuff and so on...:D...)...

I know it isn´t too sharp to give such a unexact aim (because "well painter" is a strechable term, I guess...:D...)... I just want to be able to draw everything that is inside my mind without too much difficulties (nothing like now...:D...)...

I love the work of Linda Berkvist, for example... and this is a humble try to break the university of a gap that is between me and her...^_^...

Okay, enough babbling, there you go...

A Landscape in Denmark... I was had a try on the mood there... Creepy place...:)...

Then something more fun from my Real Life Portfolio...

Plus this... not so colorful...

http://img49.imageshack.us/img49/7139/dsc05001sv8.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

A sexy back...^_^... Anatomy is slapping me in the face, I guess...:D...

http://img50.imageshack.us/img50/593/dsc05002af7.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

This was a Poster I had to do in about 5 hours as a test in school...

http://img49.imageshack.us/img49/5880/dsc05003hi3.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

And this was a copy of a scetch, I had to look at it carefully, then they took it away... I had to draw it... I was so stressed that it came out better then most of my other stuff in the end... sad I can´t hold that level someway...:)... (I forget how I did it... it´s really true... If I don´t practice I "fall" back, or lose self esteem... hmhm...)...

Another "Here, look, and now I take it away and you give it a try" copy from brilliant scetches... It´s strange, when I see what a great artist drew it is easy for me to get in the mood and paint it with the lines that are there... but I don´t really know what lines to put and which not... hard to explain, maybe you understand it somehow...:)... I have to learn how to draw an eye, a hand and so on, I guess... UFF it is so small... no way to tell something good from that, I guess...

http://img236.imageshack.us/img236/5076/kopievondsc04999hv8.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

We did some Nude Painting with the class, we had 5 Minutes per Pose... my first try and God was this dude strange... I had not the best day then, had to draw while standing... and they are way smaller than these Images...:D...

http://img49.imageshack.us/img49/4014/img009qz4.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

http://img128.imageshack.us/img128/7099/img012kc3.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

Some Toy Anatomy...

http://img174.imageshack.us/img174/2219/dsc04998zi9.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

Chairs in a hall...

http://img174.imageshack.us/img174/1341/dsc04980ff1.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

And a building in Berlin... I had tons of time on that one...

http://img174.imageshack.us/img174/5256/dsc04985ys6.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

Okay, that´s it...:)...

Please Comment...^_^...

Welcome to CA.
I enjoy the second water painting of the figure. It has a nice flow.

I guess as an architect, you don't need human anatomy a great deal, but doesn't hurt to know, if you have the time.

Those last few environment drawings are nice. The only thing I can suggest to improve on those are contrast and line weight.
In these environments, you've generally got the same tones and amount of shading throughout, from foreground to background. Same with line weight.
This makes them look flat.
Varying your rendering and line weight accordingly will greatly improve depth levels in your work.

Keep up the good work. :)

Hehe, first I thought I wonīt have any comments but then I realised that you guys are sleeping, so...:)...

What a nice bunch of Comments...^_^...

@ HunterKiller_

Thanks, I try to have this flow more often but it doesnīt work out all the time...:)... I love Aquarels, they are very "efficient"... look good with not much work so to say... And I always have fear of wasting my drawing (as somehow in the second flower woman picture...)...

@ Rolo

Haha, So basically you want me to make the things look more like the things they are and not as something I see in my head...?... Like not to draw a button as a button but to draw the reflex and have a shape that LOOKS like a button...

...:)...?...

@ erwangyang

Very good you write something, especiately if you have a hadr time doing so...:)... And remember, your chinese is still better than mine...:)... So never mind...:D...

Ah and no reason to envy me... I just start...^_^...

In general I am quite encouraged to do some more stuff for the forum and show you... maybe some Anatomy (because this is what I will be good in...:)...)... THANK you very much...:)...
