Hey All, im new arround here...or fairly new. Anyways i finally got the gusto to post some of my sketches and shtuph. My first post on CA ever! I plan on sticking arround, feel free to give me crits.

pages of doodles/sketches, some quick characters, the african face studies are done from ref...and yes i did the spartan and diseased guys face after i saw 300.

Hey dude, welcome. Good start on a sketchbook, like the last two pieces, nice value and volume on the digital piece. Two overall crits though, work on your gestures for your characters because they all tend to look stiff or in doll-like poses. I would also get more confident in your mark making, the most noticable in your 300 sketches and african sketches were you could of used on stroke in many cases instead of 5 or 6 or whatever. But overall nice stuff

character..way too markoish...and two waterhouse master studies, i learn a lot form doing these.
Planning on dipping into more digital stuff.
