Just been making faces and experimenting with lighting in Illustrator..

nice job oglzogl, i like your style. i noticed that in the way u color the light goes across the form and not around the form , like the image is comprised of a patch works of gradients that dont really hlep the structure , this may be intentional for style sake. take note though that doign so always makes the form fragmented , as thought it were collaged . try takign the line work into ps and add a mulitply layer and thus u will have a good foundation to lay colors underneath , u from there can model the form with more control and keep integirty to the form

I think I do like the disjointed effect (must be the cubist/futurist in me unwilling to let go) but I think that perhaps I will start coloring more in Photoshop. Even though I like disjointed shapes they may look better if the shape looked more realistic.
I started using this technique because I became enamored with Flash. And, of course, Flash is all vector (or at least that is what works best). Maybe it is time to try something new...

I was about to say that your style would be well suited for flash, but anyways, your style if interesting in a graphic sort of way. The top 2 look like masks that someone would wear... could be a cool design element.
