SCROLL FOR NEW SHTUFF...

Well, hi everyone! This is my first post on this site, so I thought I'd start off with a sketch and try to see how the forum works. There's so much stuff to handle, it's rather scary!

This is one of my original characters, a tomboyish girl named Florence. The drawing has no story really, I just felt like drawing her holding a scrap umbrella, which turned out to be a real pain, by the way. I'm going to colour this as soon as I have the chance, but I frankly have no idea what I want for the colours... so if you have any suggestions... I'm open!

Nice clean linework and design, I like her skullcap. I reckon it'd look pretty cool if you made the umbrella all rusty and beat up. :)

Thanks you guys! A rusty umbrella is a good idea. Hey, I've been wondering, do I have to post ONLY sketches in here, or can it be finished work?

Just a little something I doodled between homework. I'm well aware the legs are kinda funny, but... I like the clean job.

Dedicate this sketchbook towards some life studies,

But I rarely ever DO any! :x Is that solely what these sketchbooks are for?

Merci :)

I'm currently colouring the girl with the umbrella... I guess I could show a WIP. I just bought Painter X and I'm having a lot of fun finding out how it works!

By the way, you can check out the finished version of the preview above at this link: YOWZA (http://conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=95496)

This was for homework... I had to do the model pack for a whole family. This one here is my favourite one. The rotation doesn't work all that well because I have a knack for designing characters that look good at a specific angle, and this guy here sure isn't made to be seen from profile ;) But hey, I got to learn things.

Oh yeaaaaahhhh I was wondering... is there a way to change the little preview image beside the thread subject on the forum itself?

Original characters... I wanted to try expressing sexual desire without having them touching each other in a naughty way :B (Although the girl's hand is getting dangerous!)

This was so hard to do I can't even explain why... I think it was trying to keep them in proportion and interacting physically at the same time... I'm rusty.

I'm cleaning and colouring this. Comments or suggestions for colour schemes are welcome!

This is just a doodle of Miyazaki's Chihiro (from Spirited Away) that I did between some homework. I think it's randomly cute.
