Funny... this also reminds me of images painted by John Schoenherr way back in the 70's depicting DUNE. there was a painting called "Stilgaar and the Freemen" that shows Stilgar, hooded, where the eyes are glowing. Quite a striking image. A great sci-fi art book that I would reccomend to all, is an old out of print book called 'Tomorrow and Beyond. Masterpieces of Science Fiction'. Copyright 1978 ISBN 0-89480-062-0. It has artwork from many great sci-fi painters like Schoenherr, R. Powers, Michael Whelan and John Berkey.
BTW, grendel... I see the same characters here that ive seen in other 'Studio Ronin' pieces... the character with the oval facemask. The beautiful babe with the bob haircut. Are these characters apart of some story or are they just reocurring characters you use for your art?

i like the motion in the top 3 panels of p5... very nice... even though the angles are a bit repetitive (i'm thinking maybe the sequence would look a lil more exciting if you used some more dynamic angles)

As a giant, armored, one-eyed Samurai with a big sword it's awfully embarassing to get your ass kicked by a small-framed, unarmed girl... and only more so if she's stark naked.
(did that come off as sexist? you could really replace the "girl" with "boy" and it would carry the same meaning)

NNNNNNNNNNNnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!ooooooo oo!!!!!!!!!!
THE GIRL DIED, SHIT!!! PWNT! PWNT! Nice job 1 eyed samuray, now the earthlings cant reproduce. Nice job.
- Artist: you amaze me with the movement and the bad ending. Well its bad for that girl but good for that samurai.
It like reminds me of a farmiliar earth law: only the strong survive :) .. :(
