Hmm.. The main problem with this vector is the background, methinks.
What do you think? I'm trying to put more detail in my pictures, lets see it I can pull it off in a reasonable timespan..

work on composition, thumbs first before u throw urself into work.
no matter how detailed or precise it is, without a good comp, it's a waste.
i'd move him left or right. i dunno if ur action lines are really helping any.
i'd use a different color for the green gem....

Hmm.. I think I'll move him left and put some deep space into the picture, the background to me is what's hurting this picture the most.
The background.. Hmm... I'll get back with a update on that one.
Thanks for the comment, I should know with the thumbnails, especially with inschool pictures, but I should probably get into the habit of doing it in my own time and not just school.

Not sure if I like this one or not, I'm thinking I'll do a more flat terrain and have some major cloud covering in the sky.

Trippppllee post now, but a rather big update.. It's finished! To my eyes, at least.. The clouds bother me, but in general.. I like it.. This is one of the only pictures at which I actually put effort into the background, any critiques will be noted for future vectors and such.

sorry to tell u this, but i think u should put even more effort in ur background, the clouds and the river seem a bit unfinished and doddle, maybe laydown on the black outlines, u can use darker tones of the colours u r using.

There don't really seem to be any...values. Overall, I think the choice to color this with vectors was poor, doesn't seem like the type of picture to use them.

The colors aren't exactly unifyed, I agree. Values? Hmm... I did have the background with more contrast, but it took away from the dragon a little too much. Stuffs. I also had some aura action around the dragon, it was red, and it.. helped and hurt at the same time, but mostly hurt.
Okay, excuses aside.. I agree, some parts of the background I did indeed rush, espeically the river. What do you mean by no values? Hmm.. Yeah, the background is a little flat, as well as the dragon...
