Wish I had some really tight stuff to show you.... Just havent had enough freetime to really take any of my personal concepts all the way.....

Thought I would toss up a few that I had laying around that are a bit rough but I enjoyed making.

Woke up at 5am with the colors in my head for this one. Was done by 6am and went back to sleep.

Needed a release from the very tight stuff I have to do for work. Took about an hour in photoshop. Felt almost as good as throwing my monitor out the window.

Hope you dig.......any ideas on how I can take these further would be very appreciated.

The third one is really awesome. The guy in that piece should remain just as is. I like the color, but maybe the robot (unless that's a suit he's wearing of some kind) could use just a few hints of color to seperate the two. Maybe a faint hint of a city...or alley in the background? A wicked piece nonetheless.

The fifth one is really strong not only in color but in your line work. "Needed a release..." the line work in this one is certainly evident of that release. Haha..looks like it is about to kick some serious butt cheeks. Nice job.

The first two characters are great. The third one is a bit hard to figure out. The big mech or creature is a bit obscure. The forth one is interesting, the white face kind of reminds me of the freak from the movie halloween. The red in the last one is great, I think it really brings out this guys hellish attitude.

THe third one is still VERY VERY early in progress. I am taking my time with that one. I hope to step it up a bit with that one....

I am working very hard at conveying more emotion and movement in my work. In concept, its very easy to get clinical with details and lose touch of the overall "feeling" of a piece

I think Ashley Wood, Phil Hale, and of course Jon Foster are masters at conveying movement and tension in a 2d piece. I am trying a little bit of that myself.

I know thats kind of art farty... but I was starting to feel very stagnant drawing character lineups and 3/4 standing poses.

Of course the 3d modellers on my team are totally confused now........ but hey! They must suffer for my art. ahahahaahah

DONT TOUCH THE 3RD ONE! ok, touch a lil bit, but dont spoil it for ODIN sake. this sketchy look is so powerfull on that image that you can almost smell it.

Stuff's tight dude! The first and last one are most definitely the favourites. I like her subtle pose in the first one, you get her sassy attitude across nicely, and that last one is just killer with the hunched over thing going on and of course the colors (thats how I feel in traffic).
