This is my rough drawing for a war beast / mode of transportation I just started on I started modeling the head today. I would really appreciate comments and critiques as it is still in it's early stages http://www.layerten.com/art/beast.jpg

wow, i wish i could model like that :D but i can't.
the head looks really good in 3d, only 1 thing...
in the drawing, you made his jaw a bit lower, and forward (to the right for us, mere viewers :D) which make him look more aggressive... in the model, his jawbone is a bit smaller...i think...
aaah, im just rambling don't mind me, show us some pics when he's done i bet ya he'll look great :-)

Thanks for the imput, I just noticed that too, I am gonna rework the jaw and nose area to be closer to the drawing. I used wings3d you can probably model this too. www.wings3d.com

I fixed the chin and nose and added the horns, I did a little scaling on the head to give him a wider more intimidating lookhttp://www.layerten.com/art/front2.jpg

the sting of modesty and a website, like a gym towel and just a little water.

Ok freinds, I did some real rough blocking in of the body proportions, I messed with the ears for a while and finally foundd something I like I didn't like the ears the way I drew them in the drawing. I would really appreciate some good feedback, thanks. :bash:   http://www.layerten.com/art/front3.jpg
