I'm new here and curious what everyone thinks of my work.

It's a good start. Your creature has character, and you've managed to place him in an environment by just tossing in some snow.

Watch out for turning shadows into flat sheets of black. It too often reads as "I am avoiding drawing this area."

The right part is to dark. Dont do that because with all those shadow, you cat express ur character much and also the details.

Thanks for the tips. Think I should bring in some more fur texture once i tone down the shadows?

Real good start! Nice composition, and I get a real sense of your character and ebvironment. Push it further like the other guys said. Very promising--I look forward to a re-worked version!
