Hi,
Does anyone know if I can use the Wacom intous3 art marker to it's full advantage with Painter X or will I be better of sticking with version IX?

Art marker and 6D Pen,
funny thing is, if you enter Wacoms European site they'll call the pen in question the Art Marker while at the North American site it's called the 6D Art pen. Suppose that's what confused me.

Peter O,

Only an Intuos 3 tablet and 6D Art Pen combination allow us to take full advantage of the new Painter X RealBristle Brushes, using the Expression option, Rotation.

While Rotation was available in Painter IX (IX 9.1 and IX.5) the RealBristle Brushes brush variants and RealBristle Brushes brush control palette were not available until Painter X was released.

In Painter X, some other brush categories' variants can also take advantage of the 6D Art Pen capabilities.

So... if you have Painter X, a Wacom Intous 3 tablet, and a Wacom 6D Art Pen, you have the best array of capabilities to date.
