Hello Conceptart,

Instead of posting our Gamedev.net thread, I thought I'd make this thread a bit more personal. We're not a new team and really are breaking into some real successful work.

We just acquired a next generation (or at least commercial) engine, which i have not announced elsewhere yet. Expect it on the market very soon, and we are very honoured to be chosen as a project to be a flagship to this engine. Our programming team, lead by industry professionals, are having a great time using the tool set and various modules.

The art team is well experienced in the industry as well, with a modeler at THQ and another at Bungie Games. We are still working hard on bringing this diverse team together into a well oiled machine that works to its max potential. Our concept artists are very impressive as well, however it is the aim of this post to recruit a few more dedicated ones.

We are taking this time for the programmers to get used to the new technology to really flesh out the design (which should have been done in the first place) and our team of designers and creative writers are looking to collaborate in real-time (ie- Instant Messenger) for this purpose. We will use this period to really flesh out and bring the game concept into visual terms for future development and any interested investors (they've come to us so far). I will be submitting project profile to a large software house and small-time publisher, that has contacted us interested in our work.

Now for a feel about our game:

Mechnet is a world simulation that uses economic and social devices to manage and promote a rich role-play environment.

It will create a rich environment that will appeal to all types of players. The world will be filled with curiosities that are waiting to be unlocked. A world that is awaiting to be created and built by the people who inhabit it.

Specifically, this is a post apocalyptic multiplayer-online game. We've already taken into consideration what this entails and some of our members are not new to this professionally in the least.

You are to control an MPAV (Mechanized Personal Assault Vehicle) to fight tactical battles in 3rd person to gain control of territory for your faction, or advance your avatar - the pilot.

Now for some 2d visuals:

More 2D and 3D art is available upon request to interested parties. We also have a private (at this point for investors) demo animation that is also available to those interested.

Position to be filled:
In case I haven't been clear so far, we're looking for additional concept artists to work alongside the design team to bring this world into a visual format for modelers and programmers to work off of.

-Lead concept artist
-Enviro/Architectural concept artist
-Technical concept artist
(of course these positions will have overlap)

If you are looking for a successful team that knows their stuff, and would like to contribute to the building blocks of the project, please contact me using the following:

Email- acidwillburnyou@gmail.com
MSN- acidwillburnyou@gmail.com
IRC/AIM/Yahoo!- (upon request)

Thanks and look forward to your responses!

PS- we are currently making MAJOR overhauls to our website and as a result I have not posted it due to it being outdated.
