"God of War II" HOLY CANOLI!!!

If you have anything to do with the game industry you owe it to your self to play God of War 2... It's fucking increadable, I've never seen anything like it. It feels like being at a really inspireing movie(like the new tmnt move, brought tears to my eyes, TEARS OF JOY) except that it lasts alot longer... Every piece of ingame art is just beautiful, the animation is just over the top, the sound work is perfect, and the game play is completly seemless... In my opinion it's a master piece on par with the likes of, Shadow of the Colosus...

i played it last weekend and have to agree with you about everything, except that I couldn't finish the last in-game cinematic battle because it was too damn hard.

So I played it all weekend, thinking this is one of the best games ever, and then I got stuck, literally a few quick button presses away from defeating Zeus. This kind of ruined it for me. I probably tried to complete it 100 times, and then just got sick of it. The time they give you to react to press the button is ridiculous. I like that kind of gameplay, but I also want to be able to watch the damn cinema!

The quality of art is incredible, especially for PS2. And the making of DVD is probably the best I have seen for a game, because it doesn't seem sugar-coated with shameless promotion. You see how hard these people worked to make a great game and that's inspiring.
