I like landscapes so going outside inspires me. The way light hits a certain tree or an interesting tangle of roots will oft times light the spark.
On the opposite side after nearly 30 years I still play Dungeons and Dragons and the stories and characters created there inspire me as well.

What inspires me? Just coming here and seeing how good other artists are and that as long as I keep practicing, I'll hopefully eventually achieve a similiar level of skill.

competition. it doesn't matter if they're professionals, students, or novices. they drive me to push the boundaries of my skills to achieve the highest level of realism and technique, and then work towards the development of my individual style. hopefully one day, my hard work will pay off.

Forcing to remind myself that everything is a matter of perspective/ perception. To look at things differently. Reminding myself that there are no rules in Life.

When I train myself to look at things differently, things once perceived as nothing or boring get REALLY interesting suddenly!

I usually draw to tell stories, role playing makes me draw, conversations make me draw, parties make me draw, jokes make me draw.
