Cool design. I think you're going overboard with the blacks though. I feel they are hiding a bit too much detail at places.

The red light was kindof last minute impuls. Maybe I'll remove it if I don't move on to another piece instead.

Background is a mix of different spatters and brushwork that was scanned and then mixed with layer masks/airbrush then lighted in different manners.

I use the blacks to hide detail and save myself from doing them. It's a cheap trick but then again i'm evil. ;)

Very nice, I like the whole thing.

This guy oozes style. Very interesting character. He's a typical 'badass guy with a gun', but stands out above that with sheer coolness. I like the massive facial hair and the big coat.

Only crit would be that the bottom half is just so dark, you can tell that you're cheating. Please give us legs next time . :)

It's such a boost to get comments from you guys! I suspect that my AD at work is kind of spoiled and picky, since he never makes me feel this good about my work. :D

To clarify; the lack of imagination i was talking about was the fact that i was indoors with my computer instead of outside in the sun. That's not a prob anymore, since the wife found a job for me. Back to redecorating the bathroom for me...
