Hi all,
a image inspiered by the character Charon. Not much left of him but it turned out ok i guess? It took about two days to do in PS.

....snyggt jobbat iallafall :)

There's some nice work done here! I like the color choices and the dragons in the background.

My only reservation is that I don't see anything that reminds me of Charon...I mostly associate him with piloting the boat across the river to the underworld, is this another part of his myth? Is this the guy who went to the underworld to bring his wife back to the land of the living?

(I apologize if I repeated anything Triton said!)

the whole image feels blurry and undefined. almost as if ur about 80% finished with it. his pendant seems to be floating, and his hand gestures seem kinda feminine for a macho man like him. i think darker shadows on his body and clothing willl help finish up and define the piece
:chug:
good work!

Triton - Ill take it in english so that everyone understands.
Hm the green background copmplements alot of stuff in the image. If id do some clouds as you suggested then i think id would be another picture.. Im not looking to do a phiotoreal image. Just to potray a feeling. And what that is you have to decide yourselfe.

bwkeough - Thanks i really worked hard on the colors to compliment each other. AND yes you are right its not actually a charon depiction, just more or less it was inspiered by his "esence" when i did this image. SO i called it charon after the inspiration, PERHAPS a somewhat missleading title.

battlemonkey - HM blurry? in what way?.. Painted you mean?as in not so many defined roundbrush/pen lines?
And for the pendant and hands. Well what can i say. I gave the pendant some forward movement. Thatws why its somewhat off from the body. The hands should potray anticipation. Perhaps not in a mastery way but i think i got it pretty well. I really dont thinkk they are feminin in any way though. AND in the "romance" of the image i dont think the character is that macho. Thanks for the input though.

I'd give a little shadow on the skin of this beard-man. He shine too much for me.

Yaseck - mm i agree to some extent. But it shouldnt glow... perhaps your monitor is to bright... There are a lot of suttle strokes in his skin that you should be able to make iout.

enoc - thx m8.
