been a few months since the first one... thought what the heck- here's another one, hopefully more to follow. i had some problems with the mirror/monitor setup (desk too small) so the pic turned out horribly skewed. it was too late to fix so i tried what i could (ps7 transform, skew, distort) to salvage it. another thing- i wear glasses (myopic) so it was a bit tough to draw myself without glasses; if i take them off i can't see anything. due to that the eyes are a crappy. it's overall blurry but i'm quite happy how this turned out (tho i see a lot of hard work coming in the future).
one headphone, shoulder blending into bg, heart on the wall- bit symbolic, felt like adding them to make the pic a bit different. one headphone=duality of a person, shoulder=blending and disappearing into the mass, heart=washing out, bleeding
i'd like to hear your c&c (and if it's possible Jason's opinion on progress?)

will be back with more
cheers

Big headphone on a selfportrait?
Reminds me of keyth's sps...
It's funny, that the image is a little blurry, because you said you can't see good without your glasses :p

well...i have just gone through your site...and...I HATE YOU omg, You're really good, i can't believe you're just 16!
sheesh!
:bow::nod::bow::nod::bow::nod::bow:
one question, how long do you spent on your paintings?

fozzy: the mirror was a bit far :)
coriat: age doesn't really matter much. finished paintings take from 1.5 hours up to 40 hours (depends on the subject and complexity and stuff)
ps'd some more over it... bit more contrasty and sharper. i think i like it more now

a sketch would be tricky with a mechanical pencil.. (saw your master copies Mr. T) I'm pretty sure you have an 8B (or some such...) lying around tho..
I take it you aren't committing to the daily thing.. that's cool.. see ya later!
