First of all; what a great forum this is. Finally I had some time to browse around. :)
Here are some quick character development sketches. These are all for the same project:

Hey Olve! how ya been??!! Long time no see, but looks like you are keepin at it :)

Very varied work, nice. I like the Ralph Steadman feel of the first one, it captures a character with that style.

I like the 4th one's style too.

One comment...i dont know if you wanted input....Seems like you are using too much black, or other dark color for brushing in shadows, and when you brush it over another color that is too light or too far away from it value/hue wise, it creates muds in the midtones. Maybe brush in the midtones with one more color transition between the ones you have, to give it more volume and punch.....just my opinion. The color you have for shadows is perfectly fine, its just the transistion from that color shadow to your lights. The only other thing is perspective in your heads/...speciafically eyes...just look closer at them , unless you are stylizing them on purpose ... ok, im done i swear!!! Its cool to see you doing so much different work.

Art: Hey, long time no see. Been too busy the last year to do anything except work. I agree with your comments. I didn't put too much work into the colors; they weren't even really supposed to be colored. Enough excuses. :)
