OMFG xD I haven't posted here in forever |: Anyways, I thought I'd indulge you guys in my art O: 'cause I liked to think I've improved since the last time you guys saw me C:

Anyway, here's an image of Ryu, a dragon wolf character of mine xD I used 3 different programs with it...namely MSPaint for the character itself if you're wondering why the lineart is all pixelated O: Anyway, here you go

RIP IT APART D: 'Cause I know I have things I need to improve on the problem is I don't know how :< SO CRITS WOULD BE NICE C:

>.> And yes I cheated and used the grass brush tool xD This isn't as recent as I'd like...I did it in February...over a month ago O:

Why would you do the line art in MS paint if you have Photoshop...?

The back legs dont make a lot of sense to me. There are no lines defining the legs at all. Look at a picture of a real dog sitting like that; I'm sure it won't be hard to find one. The ribcage is really small. Again, reference will help you out a ton.

I would lay off the filters and photoshop tools and just work on your drawing skills. It looks like you spent about 10 times as much work on everything else besides the character, which should be the focus of the piece...

Grass brush = big no-no. Only about two steps up from lensflare.
Why the aliased lines? (I know you explained why, but why?)
Why the letterbox bars?
Why, why, for the love of god WHY the transparent bangs?
What's going on with its back legs?
The character itself is very appealing. Everything that's good about it comes from the basic drawing. All the photoshoppery adds nothing.

'Cause I never planned on going much farther than just a paint doodle xD

Thanks I'll try to keep that in mind next time :}

Thank you guys for the help xD

I'll try working on that O:
