I gotta say, when that old woman got flying kicked in the face it was pretty much the best thing i had ever seen. I can't wait for it on dvd.

I thought it was funny in places, but not enough of them. Nowhere near as good as Shaun of the Dead.

Agreeing with Void, that was definately a highlight.

Once again, Simon Pegg and co. didn't disappoint. This film is the funniest film I've seen in ages - I've already seen it three times at the theatre, and cannot wait to get the DVD.

Personally I prefer it to Shaun Of The Dead, although that's obviously a brilliant film too.

I can't wait to see what they do next.

Excellent movie, and a massive improvement on Shaun of the Dead. SotD just collapsed towards the end when all the humour vanished and I was left wondering how long it would be until everyone hurried up and died. Hot Fuzz, on the other hand... I laughed from beginning to end. ESPECIALLY the fly-kick scene.

I just saw it today, and damn, what an awesome movie! The climactic scenes were especially kick-ass. I can't remember the last time I saw a movie with such a decidedly anti-anticlimactic ending.
I think it's pretty much equal with Shaun of the Dead. Shaun of the Dead was funnier and more entertaining for the most part, but once they holed up in the Winchester it became morbid and hopeless, and subsequently, not very fun. That never happened with Hot Fuzz.
