Sigh, just fucking ignore Costas. There's not really a screening process for the people allowed onto this site unfortunately. So you're gonna get some immature bs from time to time. This is a really excellent figure study and it's great that your figure drawing class has you working with a variety of body types. It will give you a much better understanding of how human flesh moves and sits in certain positions. Plus it is really great for learning how light moves across certain surfaces...although you seem to have a pretty strong understanding of values thus far. Good work and hope to see more.

AND as for "not-preety people are sometimes even more interesting to draw", you're correct... they are more interesting to draw... BTW i just said it as a joke.. you draw really well... I wish I could draw like you (just go to my sketchbook and you'll see what I mean - I'm drawing awful)...

Wow your stuff is seriously good! I love the high contrast between dark and light in your pics!
I wish I could give you some criticism, but I can't.. I'm simply not good enough, can't really see anything you could change in your pics...

;) ;)

Thnx for all opinions. I'm glad some of You like my work. I'm an amator yet, but i'll try to improve my skills soon. I'll be adding some of my latest sketches soon too. Still waiting for advices :-)))

Just found this thread while cruisin' around the site.

On your last post, is the graduation of light on the paper due to lighting from photography, or is it rendered on the paper itself?
What medium have you used on those sketches; is it conte or pastel?
Really nice work!
