Monsters? I got your monster RIGHT HERE. (http://news.bbc.co.uk/cbbcnews/hi/newsid_4200000/newsid_4209000/4209004.stm)

(props to Yumiko for showing me this hideous little bug)

http://elegans.uky.edu/blog/pics/Cymothoa_exigua1.jpg

It eats fish's tongues and replaces the tongue with itself, leeching food and nutrients from the fish.

Sorry to hijack, but we've seen enough big squids here ^_~

That squid is ooold news. The latest one caught around New Zealand measures 12 meters.

I've seen things similar to those tongue eaters, inside a fish we had caught. Half a dozen of them crawling inside the fish's throat. *shudder*

Holy gosh, that tongue-eating bug is scary!:upset:
Goblinshark- There's a certain species of fish known for its very human-like teeth. I don't remember what it's called, but obviously that is it.

1. Am I the only one that thinks the tongue eater in GoblinShark's post looks content or even really happy?

2. Kitty so cute! Not as cute as my kitties though. They've been fed on a high calorie diet since near birth (vet's orders). Now they're bloody huge; I always think that other people's cats must be underfed or something. For some reason the toyger (aww) looks as though it's pretty big too, the paws seem roughly the same at least.
But still nothing quite on a tiger, I'd say.

This place needs a huge squid subforum. Seems like everyday someone is talking about some squid that is either giant, glowing or both.

God-damn....

I don't have a problem with the idea - any f*ckface that treats a dame like that deserves a shredded penis - my concern is he may well kill her for ruining his crown jewels - as the article suggests ...

Yeh but imagine If an angry wife wanted revenge on her hubby or did it for a joke or forgot they were wearing it?

I suppose its another good reason to start off with foreplay :P

They need the Snow Crash solution:

"a very small hypodermic needle slipped imperceptibly into the engorged frontal vein of his penis, automatically shooting a cocktail of powerful narcotics and depressants into his bloodstream."

anyhow, back to monsters:
seriously, wtf?
