I do a bit of airbrushing myself but i'm stuck for design ideas. I want to do some chinese style paitings on my walls but cant seem to draw anything design wise, can people please post links to threads and images of sketches / paintings of Chinese things. I.e. - Geshia girls, dragons, caligraphy, different oriental color mixes, anything!.
Thanks in advance for the help.

So what you are saying is “do some work for me so that I can copy the work of an artist whom I don’t respect enough to learn anything about”? Sorry, but no. If you want to do this, then you need to do some research. Go to the library or the internet and beef up on all things Chinese. Learn about Eastern art history. Check out the calligraphy thread in the Exclusive Content section. And for crying out loud, learn the difference between Chinese and Japanese culture. Geisha are Japanese.

what Seedling said. Just copying stuff onto your wall without knowing its social context histories and meaning (esp in the case of calligraphy) is a very uneducated and un-academic approach to art. Get in the know, you'll feel much better about your wall that way.
