Nice new thread. The hand studies are great. Very nice values and rendering in those. The self portait could use some more contrast tho, some more darks anyway. Keep up the good work.

Nice start to your second thread (i know how you feel about the perfectionism). You have a nice batch of tonal studies....may i suggest that you get some mid toned paper to work on so that you can add both lights and darks and build more range. Keep post'n!!

The self portrait looks great I expecialy like the hair.

Try and make your eye look more more like an sphere and less like an egg also its never pure white.. execept for Highlights there should be at least two make it look liquid.
