WIP Copperhead: A Car Wars Poster

One of the few wargames (I am an old rpg gamer) I ever developed any great affection for was Car Wars by Steve Jackson Games. As you might expect ,its a game where you build cars tricked out with guns,rockets and flamethrowers and go out and duke it out on the road.

I have wanted for some time to do a Car Wars Poster and I recently buckled down to the task. 'Copperhead' inspired by those jet fighter tarmac pics where the pilot is standing out front and the ammo is arrayed around it. I have included the thumbnail for the basic design as well as the presently completed driver.

As I work on 'Copperhead' I will be posting regular progress updates. Hope you enjoy following my work on this piece.

I have drawn and inked the car and this is the first color test. I will be reworking the coloring but this is a good start on understanding where I will be going with this.
