Some Concept Work of Mine: Looking To Improve

These were done as part of a project on another site to illlustrate one of the early drafts of the first Star Wars movie. It will be done in black and white save for artificial lights so that is why my sketches are b/w with bits of color :) Really the only thing I know of concept work, I have learned by studying the "art of" books for the movies so I'm sure there is a lot of things I don't know about but was hoping you guys might impart some wisdom on me :)

Also, the ships were modeled in LightWave and rendered out as drawings which I then finished out in Photoshop. The rest were done entirely in Photoshop.

nice stuff
i like the tie fighter variation alot. looks cool
my crit would be that the coloring is a bit stale, sort of a mixture between cell shading and a more realisitic approach, you might wanna try to go for one of the two. Other than that not much else to crit, the jedi in the first picture looks like he has rather short legs tho ^^

post more, and colored versions too!
