Yea, its an actual tattoo. Apparently hes a really nice guy who works in a 7/11 or something similar.

He's eventually planning to get a full body mod to match his face.

I nearly choked to death on coffee reading this....thank you for the splendor of a good laugh Rhynome.

My mother is a very conservative woman and she heard from my sister years ago that I was getting tattoos....so to soften the blow we gave her a copy of this photo, then when I came home and she saw the small delicate symbols on my wrists, she felt so much better. Now my fiance and I have decided to get tattoos rather than wear rings....so now I have to figure out how to break it to her that I'm getting a Scottish Stag on my shoulder. Not so delicate.

Most all of the Misfits wore make-up of skull faces for their shows. But they washed it off at the end of the night. So that's probably how you made the connection. I'm not a big fan of facial tatoos. Gheyest idea on the planet. It's not even about what jobs you won't be able to get. It's simply the idea that you have got to be a massive sack of douche to actually think that they would, in any way, look cool. It's about as stylish as a mullet and a mustache. At least those can be clipped off.

the guy with the skull face reminds me of that lizard-guy (and that one's married). if he wants to look like that,ok. to me it looks like something that'd be awesome on halloween,but rather disturbing otherwise.
