HELP!! .ABR extension??

I have a problem.I want to upload some brushes to PS CS2,they are a .abr file.I cut it and paste in the respective PS folder....but the brush itself doesn´t apear in PS!!!What´s the problem???What am I doing wrong?I need help!

it depends.
If you paste it into the brushes folder correctly, open the brush selector dropdown. There is a small arrow pointing to the right. Click on that. The brush collection should show up - if it doesn't, click on "load brushes..."
