Here is some stuff that I've finished recently or a bit before that.

First a cover I made for a cover design contest for Playtimes Mag.

Then the character design and some other artwork I've contributed for a final exam of a fellow student. The game is based on a popular game called "Journey to Jerusalem" often played on children birthday parties where there is a round of chairs with one more player than the number of chairs. Music is being played and as soon as it stops every player tries to sit down on a chair. One will not get a seat and loose the round. In the next round one chair is removed and the game begins again.

The cell game works the same with the phones making sounds and character animation. Basically it is a networking game utilizing bluetooth technology. The intention is to get the players socially and physically interacting despite using technology that usually is mostly known for communication that does not involve physical contact.

Here is the character design and some other snaps from the game.

Then some of the animated goodness. In GIF though.

The cover art is hard on the eyes. Perhaps you created that effect on purpose. I like the characters you have. The one with the green olives or boobs looks pretty interesting.

great stuff... :)
Like the colorful stuff a lot. the cover is nice as well...

crits:
-the cover has to much texture for my taste... I normally like texture in images, but you should be a bit more selective where you apply it (and how).
- http://idleware.com/images/illustrations/flagtest.gif this one is different because its a bit boring colorwhise. You have really nice hue contrasts everywhere else just not here.

haha,, can't stop looking at the animations... Do you have any ingame graphics already? I'd be interested in that as well (Seeing your designs in action)...

I love all of this stuff. Great image for the cover, that dog thing kicks ass.

Thanks for the input, mates.

liquidjack, well the cover is not really meant to be hard on your eyes but the texture ("used-look" and halftone) is used intentionally.

zaknafain, thanks for your reliable feedback. I've reworked some of the texture on the cover design. As for the flag I can see what you mean but I wanted to give the distinct "white on black" pirate-esque feel so I didn't have much choice in the use of colors or values (I think). Also, these are in-game graphics. Ok, it is not GIF as these were created in Illustrator but the animation and look is pretty much as-is. The game currently (unfortunately) runs only on Nokia N90 cell phones. I don't know if it is scheduled for a commercial release... I certainly could ask the developer if interest was expressed.

Dougbot, thanks. Glad you enjoy it.

After a test print and having taken another look at the cover I have changed a few things. Less of the "used" texture and less saturation on the fur of the dog creature. Also some minor adjustments to other areas of color and value. I hope it reads a bit more clearly now.

Feedback as always welcome.
