Hey all trying to get better at Corel Painter and Digital painting in general, and someone said that I shud focuz on getting as good at Digi Painting as I am with pencils, so heres my first reference attempt.

Any Crits/advice?

OilPastel brush is good because you can paint big and small, blend with same brush, blend colors, and smooth out edges. All with one brush.
That is what I use, it works for me.
Good sketch.
Personally I don't like images done from photographs. It is best to draw from life!

As far as from life, I ahve a massive laptop and im stuck at home lol, so im just trying to practice in any way i can. :P

I use these. Oilpastel is very usefully, I don't have to switch between blenders, It is like all in one.

I think it looks quite nice so far. Though I think you made hist nostrils too big
