i have PS elements and a wacom 7 x 9 tablet. I love it. Problem is, if I want to do a decent sized work (8x10 inches or so), I want to use a small pen size, only about 1-2 pixels. I cannot see the cursor when the pen size is that small...I have to either zoom in, which narrows my vision too much, or make the pen size large enough to see, in which case, it's up to 14 pixels or so, and I feel like I'm trying to draw with a big, clunky crayon. is there a way to make the cursor stand out more without enlarging the pen size? thanks.

I hope I can help you, Tsiamon.

Because you are using Elements, this makes it difficult for me, but let's see what we can do for you. With CS2 (which I am currently using), there is an option in Edit > Preferences > Displays & Cursors. Here, you can choose an array of paint brush options such as: Standard, Precise, Normal, Full (which you are asking for), and Show Crosshair in Brush Tip.

Since I am unaware of what Elements has for cursor options, try this:
Click your Caps Lock on. See if you get the crosshairs (a temporary precise cursor). Click it to make it go back to how it was before. This is the only approach I can think of that will give you something to follow/find your brush tip.
