a few days ago, trying to figure things out...(bad job in my opinion). Reference used.

attempt to draw lousie brooks, or at least capture some of her. Used a few photos to capture the face, but didn't copy from image. Colors are based of a picture of the self portrait guru, andrew jones(I hope you reply).

i like how the first one is working for you, love the sketchy ink lines, lots of energy there.
2nd one not working for me as well, color and comp-wise.

hate to say it, but this style is .. "commercially viable" !!*shudders*
i'm thinking magazines, music-related stuff.... great work! i really love the backgrounds you throw in.

Awesome Davi, I was wondering why I likes the pallet on the second one so much, I love seeing how bold your strokes and color choices have become, they resound with confidance. the next step is to possibly refine your detail a little more, if you were to give your faces and hands more form and render them with more clarity that it will give more validity to the rest of the image, just be carfull not to loose the life and energy you are comunicating with these. great work Davi. Im a huge fan of these

thanks android, i'm learning from the best(you). one of the real problems with me being detailed with the heads is that i've never really drawn female faces before, i'm using references when doing faces so i can understand them better, but i have a big problem doing then on my own, i'm sure it will come with time. Thanks agian.
