My first time with watercolors. I made alot of mistakes, and kept reaching for the undo button that wasnt there.:p So yes, its horrendous, all the more reason to look and rip it apart! :D

I think this this picture is cool. It reminds me of tigger from Poo. The arms are a bit antomicaly incorrect, but it looks like a cartoon so its okay.

has tedsuo seen it? it's hard to get any kind of interesting resluts coloring a line art with monotone watercolors...unless you are some master of light. my suggestion would be start over and lay down the watercolors first... then put in the lne quality, this is a good way to get rid of unused lines and add style to your pen work.

I actuly put in the inks after the watercolors..i wasnt getting the detail i wanted. Originaly, i was going to be more than monochrome, but since it was my first watercolor, i decided to keep it simple. I think i might try to fix all my lighting mistakes in photoshop or something...

Cool man! Watercolor's both wonderful and evil at the same time. The bright color and the way you simplified the shapes/lineart makes a sweet comic book style. Only suggestion would be to throw a shadow under them, just to plant the ferco on the ground and show that the tree is in the air.

Man, now I wanna go bust out my old watercolors.

Im glad you all like it! I hate the fact that you cant fix erros with watercolor. Mabye ill touch up some things in PS if it dosent look off. Expect to see another one of these soon, mabye with my own lines this time. :p

oh man.....why do i love this so much...there's just something about it, if you had put a little more time into certain aspects of the linework in relation to the presentation of the piece i think it could be even more neat :), good stuff
