Hey Daryl, I've taken some time to look at this one again(since u first showed me). I too really like the texture of his jacket... at first I thought he had some sort of muscle problem:D . I love the monkeys, especially the way you smeared their hair. The only problems I can pick out is his head... seems just a tad too small. And there just seems to be a lack of depth between the character, monkeys and wall. I'm sure you could figure out ways to fix this. Anyways like darkcult says "Keep 'Em Coming!"

The only things I would like to see is fingernails on that guy, and his head is a bit out of proportion. The eyes should be right in the center of the skull, and your character's are a bit too high. Otherwise I think it is very solid.

Very nice painting! I think someone mentioned it, but perhaps some more push-pull depth for the monkeys. They all seem a bit crowded into the same plane. I think varying up their sizes a bit to exaggerate their foreground/background-ness, maybe having one or two of them in shadow.
Good work, gots skillz.

damn this pic is toyt! I recommend puting some stronger highlights on things though. Like little white peaks to make thinkgs pop a little more. I think your guy should kill those the ape basterds; they look really mean!

intricate details make for an awsome atmosphere.
if there's a background story behind this image i'd love to read it,
really seems to remind me of some warhammer art.

The muscles look off on the chest area. It may be the texture of the kacket, but if it is, you need to chage it becuase it detracts formt he otherwise awsomeness of the picture!. :D

looks great to me, your 2d work is getting better and better!
I recon the hand not in the glove needs some fingernails, as it is so prominent in the pic.
I eagerly await your next work!

This piece has it all: a fun character design, a great usage of color, a dynamic pose and composition, oh yeah, and: Crazy crack-monkeys!
Great work. I think the bulbous texture on the bottom part of the coat might be slightly strange, but it certainly isn't that bothersome. I guess it would be interesting to see it with the coat smoothed out....
