a bum in the big city

hello! followed the layout of a picture i took. comments greatly appreciated.

can anyone help me put more dynamic lighting on this one?

I like this a hell of a lot. Though, if he actually is a bum he's pretty well dressed and clean shaven. Lighting is one of my biggest weaknesses so I probably can't offer much feedback there. Perhaps make the shadows darker, especially under the tree. Great job.

P.S.-Maybe add some pants to that middle dude in the backround. Unless, of course, that was the "bum" you were referring to.

hahaha. the second bum is actually a lady in tight pants. thanks for the info!, the bum is actually me, im putting this up as the entrance image to my website :)

i'm wondering what you mean by more dramatic lighting. it seem slike you have this illastrative style going on that doesn't really need to be too moody, but if you wanted to make him seems sad, i think i would use the fac that it seems the sun is in front of him, and there are trees inbetween him and the light, maybe make it were these shadows from the trees are covering the top part of his face? and leave a pattern on his sign? just a thought,
