I like the colors also. The lighting works well. I may be wrong but it seems to me that either her head is too small or her hand/forearm are too big.

Got just an red X. I tried to access per Code and it seems your account doesn´t allow Foreigns to get on the site - they said something that you have to upgrade to "Platinum" (and supposedly pay some cash).

thanks fred, i was trying for this desaturated look, for some reason if you dull colors down with white they seem more realistic, i guess because natural light is white, or a spectrum that makes white.(learned this from bengal) i know what you mean about sharpness and actual brush stroke quality, i am doing all these with a track-ball mouse! i lost my wacom somewhere before i moved and now it's gone! ugh. thanks for lookin in on me! we should collaborate!

still getting inspiration from bengal and the rest of you great folks. this was just a test to play with lighting. i was sitting in front of a girl on a bus, and could barely see her the light behind her was so bright.i hurried home and i tried lots of schemes but the blue is always my favorite.
comments and suggestions, plz.

this one is really wonderful, you did a great job. the only thing i could spot is that she's very tall if i understand your pic : the roof is 2cm only above her head, yes? ;)

a compliment from the man himself, seriously, thank you so much for responding....as for your crit, you are definitly right, i just slapped a bg in real quick not thinking of the logistics. now that i look at it, her head is way above the over-head handrail. :) thanks again bengal, you are my hero!

i was going for the total opposite of the last picture. with lots of shadows and warm colors rather than bright and blue. still enjoying the hell outta the whole "painting with light" idea. as well.
