hi all,

VERY long time since i posted. i used to stick around the DSG threads about two years ago, and even entered one of the TD's. although, it was one of the non-serious and powder-puff events. no real bloodshed or tears as far as i know.

i've entered myself into the Small Press Idol (http://www.dimestoreproductions.com/smallpressidol/idol07/index.html) competition and would like some honest feedback on my comic book cover rough. (ah, one crit i've gotten already- some have mistaken this to be a male character.)

[afterthought]

yea, the wide shoulders, the boa that i first mistaked to be a beard on first glance.
plus the pigtails look like they could be a design thingy, they look like they're made of wood.
the linework is nice.
the space between the blood splatters are pretty even, could make that more random.
the game is really hard to read, esp. the a, maybe pick a different font.

The girl needs some boobs and arched eyebrows perhaps and maybe recognizable earrings and pig tails (?) to cue viewers that she's a she.

Or maybe just give her thicker eyelashes.

Impressive linework though.
