I know, you've all heard these pitches before, so i'll make it brief.

I'm a professional screenwriter with a few produced features under my belt slowly working my way into the good graces of Hollywood. I've really wanted to get into comics for awhile, and i have two solid concepts that i think are a) original and b) have a lot of potential in terms of story and marketability.

I want to pursue these comics with an artist with a unique style and go on these properties 50/50.

I'm going to treat the comics just like i would a script. I'm going to get a finished issue published and swing for the fences and find someone willing to get it out to the world. It's worked for me in film and television, and i think i could get the same results from a publisher. I realize there are no guarantees in this business, but i'm the kind of person who will do everything in my ability to push a project i believe in .

Anyway, that's my spiel. There are two projects, one is Superhero/Horror and the other is just so insane i can't even think of how to classify it.

If you want to partner up and try and do something original and hopefully successful, hit me up.

Hi, I read your spiel, and believe it or not-it sounds just like me with one exception-I haven't had anything published or produced.I too have a couple of stories/scripts I'd like to turn into graphic novels/comics,and was wondering whether this is the route to go. Have you had any success with your idea? Did you get an artist?
