colors fade on upload

not sure if this is the right forum for this. (if so just delete)
how can i keep my digital images from fading when i upload? they look one way in photoshop, and duller when i upload and post them. why is this? i set the dpi or whatever to 200 or more and save it to "excellent quality", but still no luck.

you are probably working in adobergb or something.

work in srgb natively, or convert to srgb for web.

even srgb files will look slightly different in a color maneged app like photoshop versus a browser which has no color management.
