I like the color scheme on this a lot. It reminds me of Yoshi's Island for the Super Nintendo. The only thing I would criticize even slightly, is that you may want to reposition the tail a tad. Maybe it's just me and my dirty mind, but upon first viewing when I scrolled over I was like "Whoa, what's that between his legs?!" That might not be good positioning for a "childish" picture." Aside from that, however, great work.
