Hi all,
Great stuff here, although I spend most of my time lurking, I love all the work here. Very inspirational. Just wanted to post something I finshed a few months ago. I was looking thru some old books and saw frazetta and boris work, and wanted to do something kinda like it... just for fun. I hope you enjoy.

Both of the 'V' guys nailed my first reaction. This is a good composition though watch that knee cap,.

hehe, i agree with the above.
also, one of them only has one foot. i can only see 3 touching the ground. i am pretty sure they would all be visible at this angle.
great colors though and very well rendered.

Well, its definitely frazetta and boris inspired work alright. Very Nice!
Other than the suggestive composition comment, I would like to just throw it
out there that if the tree is necessary. Forgive me if I'm to wrong your intention but it feels like the tree is just filling up the emptiness of the background. I think your moon is perfect to dramatize the piece.
Why don't you push that a little more. Just a suggestion:)

pretty cool painting! I think you could push the value contrast a little further though! ;]

to answer someone's question with a guess, he's howling because there's a giant moon behind him?
the anatomy could use a little tightening.. but definitely not bad. my only issues are that 1) the orange hue of the scene doesn't translate to the characters much, reflected light or otherwise 2) the wolf guy appears to be drastically smaller than the female, while the opposite would make sense.
great work, though. what medium is this? the background really has that good old oil feel.

Thanks all for the feedback! Yeah, the composition was kinda over the top... I wanted it overflowing with the sexual overtones, without being "about sex" if that makes any sense.

yeah I tried it without the tree and with both characters looking to the right it seemed abit off balance. But I didn't want the tree to overshadow the characters to I played it back in a light brown.
sourgasm-
yeah, it's old fashion oils. 18"x24" I am still trying to learn painter, but I just can't seem to get the energy like many of the other artist here can get from it.
