I am wanting to start a MMORPG called "The Alley"; named after where your "from scratch" created character starts out in the world. I have put a lot of thought into this. But, havent been able to get anywhere. I do not have a website but, I am hoping to get Dreamweaver soon and with the collobaration of my my concept artist have a very nice website up and running. After a lot of the art is done and the website is up I will hopefully, be able to convince some other expects of the game development to start working on it, too (programmers, 3D modelers, etc., etc.). This is currently just a "project" as I am to young to start a business (even though I am very serious about this and would like to, law prohibits it.) So, anyone who would be interested and working out some more details for this game and starting some art for it. Please contact me at:

bakerboarder5o@yahoo.com

*any suggestions, advice, feedback, etc., etc. please ask/let me know. to help choose when you email me i would like some examples of your work. i am willing to hire more than one artist, though (which would be wise), to get more ideas and work flowing through the "project."

thank you.

what type of mmorpg.... adventure, scifi, future tech?

all of them, kind of. i want it to be like "The Sims" series. but bigger and more things incoporated: huger universe, more species. plus, not as "corny"? i guess you could say, as "The Sims." (no offense to any big sims fans.)

why do you ask? are you interested? if you are. i just need a some examples of your work. a portifilio would be nice but, at least just a few examples of your "best" work.

benefits: credit on my up-coming webiste for all the artwork and later, an actual profit when beta versions come out. and i want to make a few little games first, too. to just get some finances going. so, you would get part of that, too.

*this may just sound like some little idea. but i want to make this big, and really go for it. so, if anyones is interested, like i said; just email me.

thank you.

Hey, CJ4000, a word of advice. Mods are a world of their own. Try joining an existing team with a mod in the making to understand the process before trying on your own with little/no knowledge of programming, modelling...

Dude, join a mod, don't do an mmo. I told you that on msn the other day.

To join a mod team, that's quite easy, but you can find hordes of them on ModDB.
