Real nice work! Personally I like the paintings without the linework, thought they look a little unfinished, their style is established. I look forward to seeing some more design work from you.
On the portrait, I think the eyes are big, but not too distracting. I think the hair part may be too uniform. The drawing looks solid, it's just a matter of deciding what you are gonna do with the background, and then finishing the hand, sweater,ect...

do stronger highlights! on the nose, the top of the forehead, the outside of the cheek bones near the eye, the chin... those places always have strong, and usually clear highlights, as well as the bridge of the nose. That's my input, but otherwise, I love it, and she's totally cute!

quite impressive stuff ;D
i agree with adding more highlights on the portrait. Apart from that you could try to smudge the colors toghether a bit so it appears smoother, that might make it a tad more realistic. and i think the pupils are too big, try to fit the entire full circle of the iris into the visible eye, unless her eyes are very squinted. keep working!
i love the FFX stuff, that games the best ;)

Okay, the last one looks pretty cool, but there are a few things that would make this image pop a lot more.
First, is to understand color theory and put it to work in this picture. For me to try and explain color theory on this thread would be rediculous, there is just way to much to talk about.
but to give you a very quick run down might still help;
1)As colors go into shaded areas, they become less saturated. And therefor as they shift into highlighted areas, more saturated.
2) As colors go from highlighted to shaded ares they shift somewhat through the color spectrum; the brightest areas are white or yellow and then go in this order: orange, red, green, blue, violet. Violet being the darkest shaded areas.
these thing can be done very subtley and make the portait look more alive.
To get a quick understanding of how this works, look at the masters. Youll see it in their work if you look hard.
a good place to start is www.Artrenewal.com (http://www.Artrenewal.com)
Good luck
