Nice work ammoburger, are the first sketches done from Vilppu's class? Would love to take his class, as I've admired his work for years. :)

i did take a class with glen a while back but these are drawings from Rick Morris's figure quick sketch class. i'd recommend either classes i've benefited tremendously from both

Very nice sketches! You know, I have a really hard time photo'ing my work as well - I've found the best to be of course photo'ing with daylight, no flash, but when I photo at night, I find that the only way I can get a decent read on photos is to Grayscale them in photos and then adjust the levels manually. Sometimes autolevels works, but I tend to tweak manually to see what works. Just a suggestion, hopefully someone else can provide feedback - but the photos are fine for showing the drawings - looking good, keep up the good work! :)

Nice work. Rick is an awesome teacher. His drawing classes helped push me past a long time sticking point and increased my understanding of values.

I always photo drawings using sun light. Better to go darker than light, as more detail is reserved. My method is to then adjust the grainiest color channels first with levels B4 I desaturate. The blue channel tends to be the worst. Once that is cleaned up the pic looks clearer.

You are cordially invited to LAAFA's first annual Atelier student show, to be hosted by Gallery Nucleus. This is an exhibition of work created by our 1st year graduating Atelier students. We are really proud of this first group of Atelier students and the strides they have made in the year since they started here. We would love to share their work with you.

Very nice drawings. I would love to be at a place like this.
You should find a better place for your images than photobucket. They're removing all your nude images. Not particularly helpful since these are mainly life drawing.

Here's Marina's version of our long pose/80hour drawing of Roxanne, wrestling graphite on Strathmore in an epic battle of wits and artistry.
