These are early attempts at adding color to my pictures with photoshop.

Images are so huge I can barely tell what's going on. The top one looks flat because you used generally the same hue but just in different values. Try shading with a different color, maybe even a complimentary color, to make them pop more.

I like the visual texture on the second one. Though I wonder why some of the lines on the skin are there.
