I'm looking for a Concept Artist who is experienced in Photoshop or some other similar Program and be able to paint his drawings. This game project will have cutscenes similar to the ones seen in Max Payne, Need for speed Carbon, and Ace Combat 04

i can't promise that i won't suddenly go work at trader joe's starting next week so i can pay the rent, and i know you're not fooling around...
but i just wanted to make sure, there's really no pay involved in this, right? it is in the non-pay section, but it sounds like you're so eager to have someone help, i just wanted to make sure.

Hate to break it to you friend but with that type of style and professional work you will have to pay an artist. I'm not applying to this because it's not paying.

But why not save up and then find the artist you want and pay them. Just offering advice. =)

I'm not trying to rip people off, this is a free project, none on the team is getting paid including myself, I'm not trying to steal the artist work and clime that it is mine, it is true that I'm the lead guy and the main writer but that doesn't mean the artist don't have the freedom to design creatures/characters the way they want, only that i ask 20% of the design to be similar to what i wrote in game design document and the rest is decided by him/her.

The Writer (Me) come up with the monster/character, the Artist draw it based on what the writer wrote, the 3D Artist model it, the Skinner make Texture for it, the Animator does the animation based on the game design document, the Sound guy create sound for the monster's animation, no one is ripping off anyone, i know what your saying, i ran into people like you before..
But why not save up and then find the artist you want and pay them. Just offering advice.
