ManKind meets the incredible hulk? What did you do this in? Painter/ Photoshop? The character looks ok but the stadium background bothers me. The circular design you have there looks uneven. The lighting on the inner ring should be more intense than the upper lights. There isn't enough color variation/contrast between the character and the background. Try using complements to pop the figure out more.
The inner ring of background lights could cast more of an edge light on the figure which would be nice. After being in Assael's class for awhile, you're the last person that should need to be reminded of warm yellow light hitting a model.
Sorry if that was a bit much but I'm guessing you posted to get a critique not have your ego stroked. However, I'm sure someone will be along shortly to stroke away. What would Monteleone or Steve say?

Do you get what I'm saying about your piece. Just trying to give my honest opinion on what you could do to make it a stronger piece. Making corrections or not is ultimately your choice but I wanted to give something more constructive than ( Dude U Rock!!!!!!   ) Ya Know?

dude, i took your advice and changed the image on my second post (if you look closely you might notice some of the changes). i know it sounds silly to say but i'll say it anyway, i wasn't going for realism but this was a concept or an idea. hmm, wait, that did sound bad, i hate it when other people say that too (sounds like a cop out for imcompetence) . maybe with my next one i'll make something more realistic. i was talking to james zhang alittle while ago and he told me to make my work more believable and not necessarily more realistic. so i've been trying to work on that.
I was being facetious with my last post and I apologize if it came out wrong.
Hey thanks fozzy, I think my battle beast bit this guy’s face off that’s why he’s wearing this protective mask.

Oh, Ok I just looked again and it does look better. As for James Zhang, that's his personal choice. I've seen plenty of concept art that is both believable and realistic without too much effort. Just depends on how long you want to work a piece. Some of the work in Scott Robertsons thread for example goes both ways. Some are just believable While others really hold up as realistic scenes. James Clyne is by far my favorite of the bunch.
