I'm trying to learn Corel Paint, it's so cool...

I like very much the song of fire and ice saga, i always would like to draw comics and pin ups from novels i read..

It takes a lot of time for me to work with colors and shadows with this software, i usually use water color-like tecnique, like in comics art, making shadows wit black ink and not with colours.

.. suggestion and critics are welcome, absolutely

Judging by the facial scars I'd say this is Sandor Clegane we're looking at?

I have to agree with you on that book series... completely aweome. Anyone who hasn't read this series and likes the whole fantasy/gothic genre really needs to check them out. George R. R. Martin's site (http://www.georgerrmartin.com/)

Yes is Sandor Clegane, i spent a lot of time trying to render the burned, flesh in his face.

What do you think about, i accept suggestion for the colour of armor, i'm thinking to leave the bluish tone as the sky is.

I would like to leave all in cold colors except for the facial burning-

Neat idea... keep everything cool except the burns on his face... but, he's not blonde

And don't go nuts putting him in fancy armor. The Hound always wears nondescript, plain yet functional armor, despite being knighted.

Thank you very much... (sure he's not blond :( ??)

my 2 cents:
a. shading with black makes your colors very muddy. i would advise trying to stay away from shading and blending with black and white, sounds silly, but instead try shading a light color, with a dark color.
b. i would advise for you to add detailed strokes after 1. you shade good depth in the largest and basic forms and 2. define where your lightsource(s) is(are).
