Would anyone recommend it? I have the urge to get one, since I really like the idea of drawing on the screen. I'm sure there will be issues with durability of the screen and such. If there is anyone who've used it I would like some info. Thanks.

I own one. Very nicely built. I've lugged that thing around from work to home and back. Pretty durable if you don't use it as a shield. I've used my for almost 2 years now. It's taken quite a beating to the screen in as I use it for my digitals and surfing on the net. It's a well made laptop in my opinion and hasn't given me any grief yet. I would recommend it. It's not too overpriced for a PC Tablet and it is a WACOM Penabled (tm). I guess if I had to nitpick the screen isn't bright enough for my tastes... but that can also mean I'm going blind from staring at it:)

You know they are really starting to construct Tablet PC's for an artist use than when they had the sucky ones years ago, I wouldn't be surprised if they came out with a tablet this summer that came with Photoshop CS3 or Painter X already installed on it. I also wouldnt be surprised if many digital artist started replacing their Wacom computer tablets, with Tablet PC's.

My friend just got one, and I have been thinking about getting one, but if you are going to go looking start out by going to : laptopauthority.com

My friend Ben, said, "drawing on it is a little wierd because it goes slower without the keyboard, but its just something you have to get used to, once you found out how to actually set up shortcuts on the screen it shouldnt be a problem though. And make sure you find the right one, and if you can test it, test it. "
